Operation Unified Response

Operation Unified Response was Europe’s largest ever disaster training exercise which involved over 70 agencies and 2000 volunteers. Staged over four days at a disused power station, which was converted into Waterloo station, in which they simulated a tower block collapsing onto the underground station, destroying trains and trapping hundreds of people.
